One-Pan Jalapeño Popper Chicken Pasta

Creamy jalapeño popper chicken pasta loaded with bacon, cheddar cheese, and pickled jalapeños.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup pickled jalapeños, chopped
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Kinder’s Buttery Garlic & Herb Seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. Cook seasoned chicken in bacon grease until fully cooked.
  3. Drain some of the excess grease.
  4. Add broth and uncooked pasta and stir.
  5. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
  6. Add cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños.
  7. Stir until creamy and smooth.
  8. Top with bacon and serve.
