Crockpot Smothered Chicken

Tender slow cooked chicken thighs covered in rich gravy with peppers and onions.

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Kinder’s Buttery Garlic & Herb seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • mashed potatoes for serving

Method
 

  1. Place chicken thighs into crockpot and season well.
  2. Top chicken with sliced onions and peppers.
  3. Add cream soup, gravy mix, and broth.
  4. Lightly stir ingredients together.
  5. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
  6. Shred chicken and allow gravy to thicken slightly.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes.
